We are a search consultancy. In practice, this means that we are available to our clients for advice whenever you may require it. We can provide guidance on salary benchmarking, interview structure, financial modelling tests, on boarding, remote interviewing or any topic that sits within our field of expertise.


Director Level Partnership

In the recruitment industry, it’s common for your initial discussion to be with an experienced Director, but the process is executed by individuals with much less experience, frequently without adequate training. All Stoneleaf Searches are executed by a very experienced and highly knowledgeable Director.

Stage 1

Briefing & Instruction


 
 

A detailed briefing is essential when starting a search. In order to meet our own high targets for accuracy we will need to understand not only the role, skills and experience, but the culture of the business and team, the personality attributes and softer skills that you are searching for. This is a powerful combination to find the perfect candidate.

As a consultancy, we are also able to offer our own advice and market knowledge at this stage and throughout the process.


Stage 2

Interviewing, Shortlisting & Submitting


 

We then use a range of search methods to identify and engage potential candidates. The best candidates aren’t always searching for a position, however using headhunting techniques and our extensive networks, combined with a strong employer proposition, we are able to find the most talented individuals.

We then conduct interviews by telephone, video and face to face where possible to reach a high quality shortlist. We can either submit this to you in one group or individually, as and when we identify an excellent candidate. All candidates are submitted alongside our detailed reasoning for shortlisting.


Stage 3

Client Interviews, Offer Management & Handing in Notice


 

Candidates are invited to attend interviews directly with our client and the top performers are usually invited for 2nd and sometimes 3rd stages.

We then help you to compile a compelling job offer for the selected candidate, secure their acceptance and then support the candidate through the process of handing in their notice until their start date with you. We can also take references at this stage if required.
